Centrica’s international Distributed Energy & Power (DE&P) brings together expertise from our UK and US businesses and works to deliver distributed energy solutions to businesses. We provide construction services to deliver projects across the UK for industrial and commercial customers wishing to reduce energy consumption and/or generate energy. As we grow, recruiting the right people is essential and we currently have an opportunity for a Global Propositions Assistant Manager.

Location: Windsor – office based with some global travel to non-home offices between US, UK and Ireland and our Rest of World regions which currently are focused in; Italy, Netherlands, Hungary

The Role

The role will work as part of the Global Products and Propositions Team to launch propositions across DE&P geographies. It will involve but not be limited to:

  • Actively manage proposition development through the stage-gate process, developing propositions through Ideation and Strategy, Exploration and Design, Development and Go to Market stages
  • Project manage proposition development working with a diverse range of global teams, ensuring successful delivery of new propositions to market across these geographies in expected timeframes
  • Design and project manage a portfolio of beta tests to validate customer demand, test proposition design and customer experience
  • Work closely with product pillar owners to develop new products where a new proposition design requires expansion into this market space
The Person

We are looking for a passion to solve a customer problem or create something new to meet their needs and creativity to develop new proposition design options. It is key that you have Commercial acumen and analytical ability. A knowledge of Agile methodology is an advantage along with the following:

  • Degree level qualification in any discipline – or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in a B2B global or European marketing role
  • Project management of virtual teams
  • Cross functional experience
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and cross functional organization
  • Attention to detail and a high focus on execution is desired
