An exciting opportunity to truly lead a sales function to drive growth, manage retention whilst delivering exceptional customer services. You will support and further develop the acquisitions and retention strategy whilst remaining committed to treating our customers fairly.

The channel manager will also manage the relationship with 3rd party suppliers and Outsource partners ensuring high levels or engagement and delivery against key business targets and key campaigns.

The Role

  • To manage the cross sell and new business growth in Acquisitions
  • To implement, the commercial strategy set by the Head of SME Sales, underpinning Acquisition & Retention tactical objectives.
  • Manage customer acquisition & retention numbers, KPI’s and business growth.
  • Manage the performance of the channel (in-house and 3rd party outsource partners) in order to meet and exceed targets through optimisation of strategy, data, products, propositions and customer contacts.
  • Manage the internal and Outsource Small Business Sales teams in delivering industry leading customer service/sale experience to maximise sales opportunities and value to the business.
  • Manage an effective group of team managers that are driven to deliver the operation that strives for continuous improvement across Lead Generation, On-line and Inbound Acquisition & Retention activity.
  • Effectively manage campaigns, lead-generation and prospect data to deliver agreed conversion rates, taking proactive steps to address any adverse variances
  • Contribute to new ideas to increase sales, cross sell and value.
  • Manage the implementation of testing of new customer data sources and propositions to deliver targets and enable channel acquisition growth and improve the retention of customers through the contract renewal and upgrade journeys.
  • Managed increased efficiency through resources and effectiveness in the sales process to increase acquisitions at reduced costs and ensure effective data utilisation and management.

The Person

An experienced and successful leader of large teams in a telesales environment with a proven track record to drive growth and retention whilst delivering excellent customer services. The Channel Manager will have experience in managing outsourcing partners, ensuring that we are set up for success and able to deliver on our objectives. To drive a culture of positivity, continual improvement, where our teams are engaged and happy. Ideally you will understand the energy supply and/or services market or come from managing multi channel teams in a telesales utility business. You will have strong commercial acumen, the ability to build relationships at all levels and contribute to the overall business strategy. This is a senior role, with scope to grow and develop.

The Company

Base salary c.£60k plus excellent benefits including private health care, bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave and car allowance plus much more.
