At British Gas, we recruit instore Retail Energy Experts (Sales Advisors) who want to provide the very best energy deals for our customers.  In return, you will be rewarded with a huge range of employee benefits in addition to base salary and uncapped commission. As an instore sales advisor you will be based within a chain of leading supermarkets in your local area, providing compliant and relevant advice relating to a range of British Gas products and services.

  • Instore Sales Advisor
  • £30k average on target earnings with uncapped commission scheme £15k basic salary + £2,496 London weighting within M25
  • Field based in leading supermarket stores in your local area
  • Fantastic benefits include share schemes, 31 days holiday (including bank holidays,) flexible benefits package worth 3% of basic salary and employee discount schemes
  • Permanent position offering 40 hours full time or 20 hours part time.

Sales Advisor (Retail Energy Expert)

As an instore sales advisor, your natural ability to approach and build rapport with customers will lead to discussion regarding our products and services, providing them with the most appropriate deal. You will be responsible for a portable stand and hand held terminal to demonstrate the great deals we offer.  British Gas needs resilient, target driven, self-motivated individuals with previous sales and customer service experience. So that you are fully prepared, you will receive 2 weeks full-time training. This role will involve weekend working, you will also be required to own a car and have a full driving licence for use within the UK with 6 points or less. (Driving licence and car not essential within M25)
